| ...I'll feel like a jerk if I don't give some real advice. My advice is...... ......go to the track and spend some time looking at other cars and watching them make passes. If possible, ask people about their setups. I realize that not everyone at the strip is approachable. If you can hook up with someone who is a serious drag racer, talk to them and try to learn about the technical side. Building a car for drag racing requires certain, special setups that may or may not make sense for a car that is driven daily. In short, go try to learn by doing. You will gain real experience that will help you gain a real understanding of what's going on.
